This was a gift for my daughter and she absolutely love it. She has a really hard time getting up in the morning and getting out of bed. With clocky she not only gets up but she also gets out of bed even if the clock hasn't roamed too far yet. I thought it would be very irritating to her in the morning and was a little worried about attitude but so far she loves it, I love it, we love it! The volume is plenty loud and the clock runs away but not too fast or far. I highly recommend for any ultra heavy sleeper.

This is the second time I've owned this clock. My last was a bit better (it had mp3 ability) but it is loud, sounds like R2D2 causing chaos and roams around to play catch essentially. I got this one for the kids and it definitely works.

Needed something to help my daughter independently wake up, since I work at nights and cannot leave my desk all the time to wake her. She has not overslept since she started using it AND she does not wake up moody like she used to. Its a win win.

This is easily the most annoying alarm clock there ever was. That’s saying a lot considering I’ve been to boot camp and deployed where unpleasant sounds often wake you from sleep. Clocky sure has hell does the job. First morning I tried it out I flew out of bed so quick, I had no idea where I was for a moment. This thing makes a sound so awful that it gives the mandrakes from Hogwarts a run for its money. So if you’re looking for something to ensure that not only you won’t sleep through it but that you’re also wide awake and ready to go for the day, this is your alarm clock. Your adrenaline kicks in so you don’t even need that cup of coffee!

I love the concept of this clock. It doesn't damage anything that it moves. The sound is excellent and loud enough. It doesn’t always wake me up, so I recommend to set up alarm on the phone as well.

I am the type of person who sets 6 or 7 alarms. I generally snooze through the majority of them, or sleep through them on occasion. I can confidently say I clocky wakes me up every time. The sounds that come from the alarm effectively wake me from my sleep, and having to get out of bed to hunt it down ensures that I actually start my day on time. As far as complaints, I don't have one about the product. I would say, if you have a higher bed frame, be careful where you place clocky, as it may roll under there on its morning journey causing you to wake your husband up to help you reach it to shut it off. Lol! Overall I totally recommend if you have issues getting up to your current alarm!

I have always had a hard time getting up in the morning and have tried several different alarm clocks to help me with this. This is by far the most effective. I put it outside of my bedroom, in the hall and it is loud enough to wake me up from there. By the time I get out of bed and leave my room, there's no telling if Clocky will be in the dining room, kitchen, living room, etc. After figuring out where it is, chasing it down, and turning off the alarm, I've already been up and moving around enough to the point where I feel awake and don't have the urge to just turn it off and go back to bed. I would highly recommend this product to anyone whose circadian rhythm makes it difficult for them to get out of bed in the morning.
